ABOUT THE PROPERTY

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead the property's sales efforts and contribute to the growth of its revenue streams. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong network within the local market, a strategic approach to business development, and a proven ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. This position is open to local candidates only, and housing is not provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
■ Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets across rooms, events, and food and beverage segments
■ Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research
■ Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and key accounts
■ Conduct site inspections, sales calls, and client presentations to showcase the property and its offerings
■ Negotiate contracts and rates with clients in line with property guidelines and revenue management strategies
■ Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns, activations, and brand visibility initiatives
■ Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform sales strategy and positioning
■ Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for senior leadership
■ Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions within the local market
■ Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery on client commitments and group bookings
QUALIFICATIONS
■ Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a senior sales role within the hospitality, hotel, or tourism industry
■ Strong existing network within the Guyanese market, including corporate accounts, travel trade, and event organizers
■ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a confident and professional demeanor
■ Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
■ Solid understanding of hotel sales processes, revenue management principles, and market segmentation
■ Proficiency in sales management tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
■ Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred
■ Must be a local resident of Guyana; housing is not provided with this position
