For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 6+ years of experience as a Senior Full Stack (Java + React) Developer
- Strong experience developing scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, microservices architecture, and gRPC communication patterns
- Solid expertise in modern frontend development with React, TypeScript, Zustand, and Material UI, delivering responsive and user-focused applications
- Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and distributed systems in cloud-native environments
- Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, translating UI/UX concepts from Figma into high-quality technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with focus on clean code practices, performance optimization, and software reliability
- Comfortable working in agile environments, contributing proactively to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Fluency in English (B2); Fluency in Portuguese (B2)
- Availability for Hybrid model 1 x week (based in Porto or Coimbra)
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
