Basic Function (in one statement) Create an environment conducive to continuous quality improvement, work closely with operations to implement systems to nurture quality excellence, and ensure all employees throughout the company are trained and perform properly to produce quality products and services Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Including any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time)
• Lead global quality – be a change agent • Create and communicate an overall vision for quality within the company, setting goals
and objectives to create alignment across the company • Own the company wide quality assurance program that includes quality management
system, supplier quality management, customer quality and factory quality. • Standardize our quality system and control to project a one company image • Sharing of best practices and lessons learnt across the company • Nurture and instill a can-do, proactive approach quality mindset and philosophy across
the company • Accountable for implementing and maintaining consistent global quality metrics and
improvement goals • Measure, report, and drive breakthrough performance in all critical quality metrics • Drive the organization on the use and application of statistical tools such as DOE, SPC,
GR&R, ANOVA, Hypothesis Testing, etc. • Setup and drive COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) • Maintain an effective Failure Analysis Laboratory to facilitate expeditious and high-
quality failure analysis in support of engineering and operation • Drive product complaint investigations and root cause analyses to ensure feedback loop
is complete to avoid same issues in the future

• Effectively communicate and share 8D to the customer. • Develop, implement, and maintain training that improves product and business process
quality and reliability • Manage, train, and continuously develop the QA team at all sites, and promote an open
and collaborative cross-functional culture • Assist in new product development to establish quality standards, customer defined
quality, supplier base and manufacturing capabilities are established prior to initial production
• Oversee compliance auditing program to fulfill regulatory requirements
Qualification and Experience Required (Including education, industry/functional work experience, competency, personal qualities, etc.)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics and automation) or related discipline
• 15+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing with a mix of operations, quality, and R&D background in sizeable factories (2,000+ employees)
• Excellent leadership skills with written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Exceptional presentation skills, utilizing clear and concise visuals to articulate complex
ideas and concepts in an easy-to-understand manner • Focus on formulating effective solutions to problems logically and rallying team to
execute to completion • Attention to detail with an ability to perform critical review of various types of
documents • Well verse in statistical tools such as Six Sigma’s DMAIC tool kits • Good understand of Lean manufacturing concepts and tools. • Demonstrate ability to successfully lead multi-disciplinary project teams. • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and with
customers, suppliers and third party certification agencies • Self-starter and resourceful • Work well under extreme pressure • Strong interpersonal and communications skills • Fluenct in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
