Veterinary Medical Oncologist – Specialty & Emergency Hospital
A specialty veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join its collaborative and supportive clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced oncology care while working alongside experienced specialists and emergency veterinarians in a well-equipped facility.
Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat cancer and oncology-related conditions in animal patients

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy protocols

Collaborate with veterinary specialists and clinical teams to provide comprehensive patient care

Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis

Maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care
Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university

Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary oncology

Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in oncology medicine

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
