Description

Join our TechOps Finance team and play a key role in establishing global standards for product costing and manufacturing controlling. In this highly visible position, you will drive consistency across an international network, contribute to the S/4HANA transformation, and help optimize processes through standardization, automation, and continuous improvement. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will make a direct impact on business performance and decision-making.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the redesign of standard costing calculations, including start-up costs, excess capacity, and idle costs. 

  • Develop end-to-end technical concepts to establish standardized costing benchmarks across manufacturing sites. 

  • Ensure consistent implementation of costing standards within SAP and across the global network. 

  • Further develop and maintain guidelines that support standardized production cost controlling practices. 

  • Act as the subject matter expert and first point of contact for standard costing implementation and troubleshooting. 

  • Coordinate and manage internal costing runs across the organization. 

  • Serve as the central contact for new product launch calculations and COGS simulations. 

  • Support the S/4HANA transformation by defining new standards for production cost controlling and product cost allocation. 

Your qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance & Controlling, or a comparable qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Manufacturing Controlling.

  • Strong expertise in COGS calculations and the ability to explain system settings clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent SAP knowledge, particularly in routings, bills of materials (BOMs), work centers, transactions, and PCA.

  • Advanced IT skills and a strong affinity for systems, especially SAP FI/CO and SAP BW.

  • Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively while building strong working relationships.

  • Experience working in a multinational matrix organization and driving change initiatives.

  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally as required.
