Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Docker images and Helm charts for application deployment
- Ensure integration with third-party tools and providers, including:
- HashiCorp Vault
- Bitnami SealedSecrets
- Cert-manager and trust-manager
- Multus
- Design and implement CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins:
- Application and documentation builds
- Lab/environment deployments
- Automated regression testing
- Support Kubernetes-based application deployments and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation, deployment efficiency, and system reliability
Job Requirements:
- Strong functional knowledge of Linux (RHEL or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Bash scripting
- Experience with Python 3
- Solid understanding of Git version control
- Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts, including:
- Controller types and their usage
- Pod lifecycle and health checks (probes)
- Service types and networking behavior
- Persistent volumes and claims, especially in StatefulSets
- Working knowledge (or willingness to quickly learn) Helm 3+:
- Chart structure and subcharts
- Template customization and templating functions
- Deployment lifecycle (install, upgrade, hooks, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of:
- OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
- Apache Kafka
- MariaDB
- Keycloak
