Main Accountabilities - Responsibilities, Tasks & Interactions
– Organization
• Establish an organization in line with SCM regulations, blueprints, and process frameworks.
• Set HBU and factory budgets, KPI targets, and adjust resources accordingly.
• Ensure adequate budgets and staffing in HBU and CSS.
– Sourcing Strategy
• Plan and implement the sourcing strategy in the factory, aligning with the BU strategy.
• Align with BU/GPG/HBU management on strategic initiatives and execute accordingly.
• Set conditions for HBU category and Factory SCM teams to implement the strategy and deliver
on targets.
– Processes
Ensure defined SCM processes are implemented and followed throughout the value chain.
• Define material assumptions during sales bids and approve costing in "must win" opportunities.
• Accountable for prices and terms & conditions definition and control throughout the value chain
(from sales bid to ERP master data and overseeing invoice control rules). Monitor accuracy and
drive corrective actions.
• Optimize the usage of CSS and collaborate for continuous improvements.
• Report on KPIs for business and process performance. Propose and drive corrective/improve-
ment actions where necessary. Enforce compliance with company rules. Support the team on
escalations when necessary.
– Improvement Measures
• Promote and sponsor improvements using benchmarking, DtV, cost breakdown, "should cost-
ing," and problem-solving techniques.
– Supplier Management
• Accountable for supplier performance for the spend under direct responsibility.
• Third-level escalation of recurring/critical non-conformity and claims resolution.
– People Leadership and Development
• Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed (with HRBP
support).
• Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates following HR policies, and coordi-
nate talent management and succession planning within the assigned area.
– Additional Responsibilities
• Oversee HUB Supplier Quality and Development activities in compliance with factory, category
management requirements following the Supplier Management process workstream.

Requirements - Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Manage-
ment, or relevant experience.
• CIPS or ISM CPSM certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years in procurement, operations, or supply chain management in the manufactur-
ing industry.
• Experience working in matrix organizations (hierarchical and functional reporting).
• Compliance and ethics oriented.
• Strong leadership capability, ability to motivate and develop people, result-oriented, and strong
conflict resolution skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English, with other languages being an advantage.
• Flexibility to travel up to 25%.
