Shift Hours:

• Sunday: 6 AM - 6 PM
• Monday: 6 AM - 6 PM
• Tuesday: 6 AM - 6 PM
• Wednesday: 6 AM - 12 PM

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must be able to use basic hand tools, able to read & understand assignments, able to communicate orally & in writing, able to hear/respond to two-way radio, able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, able to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors, basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment. May monitor boiler and perform chemical test on boiler. May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems.  Must be certified to operate various pieces of gas/hydraulic motors/lifts.  Performs duties such as welding, cutting, minor electrical repair, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water & steam pipes, lines, & systems. Prefer individual be respirator qualified. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.  Willing to further education by outside training, company testing program & vendor training. Rehire Criteria:

·         Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.

·         Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
