Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Audit in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use technology to document access-related information, communicate clearly, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift handoff communications regarding access activity, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
