As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to tailor solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to coordinate efforts and maintain seamless operations is a key aspect of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Experience in configuring and managing ITOM modules to support operational workflows and automation.
- Strong understanding of integration techniques using APIs and low-code platforms within ServiceNow environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to packaged or SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with release management processes and tools to ensure smooth deployment cycles.
- Capability to analyze system performance and implement improvements to maintain stability and scalability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- This position is based at our DDC5E - SEZ location.
