Job Description

As a Security Officer Graveyard in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records for commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, provide directions and assistance, and report maintenance, access, and security-related issues according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
