The Regional Order to Cash Delivery Lead is a member of the OTC Global Services Finance leadership team reporting to the Global Tower Lead.  This leader will be responsible for executing the vision, strategy and transformation roadmap for the future of order to cash and trade accounting. Additionally, this role will be accountable to deliver accounts receivable operations across the region.  The Regional Order to Cash Delivery Lead should be a master of process ensuring deep understanding of Cash Applications, Deductions Management, Cash Collections, Order Management and Credit management in order to deliver against key performance metrics designed.  They will execute the transformation from as-is to the to-be as well as lead the operational and management governance processes - as part of our 3-tier governance model with stakeholders.  This role is part of the Financial Operations Delivery organization and is supported by the Enablement teams.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Strategic Direction of Order to Cash:

  • Execute strategic thinking on Regional Order to Cash for Mars and develop a clear strategy and implementation plan that addresses the needs of today as well as Mars in the future including entire End to End Process customer to cash.
  • Execute clear operational metrics for the tower.
  • Develop a customer-focused mindset not only for Corporate and Segments but for the Mars Associates and the Vendor partner teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align mission and purpose of Order to Cash at Mars.
  • Responsible for relationship management across key stakeholders Controllers, CFOs, Digital, Rewards, Tax, Audit and Compliance.
  • Manage escalations that are urgent/imminent (service disruptions, impact to reputation, etc.).
  • Work with Global I2C Process (GPO) team to ensure alignment of priorities, projects and operations. Embrace AI and other technologies as enablers of productivity.
  • Lead Global benchmarking and external/regulatory monitoring in support of global initiatives.

Leadership impact on Order to Cash Operations: 

  • Deliver well-controlled operations against SLAs/KPIs within AEP budget and with customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure operational integrity and stability on metrics that matter.
  • Oversee the performance of SLAs by any third-party vendor.
  • Ensure strong control environment, executing risks and controls including remediation activities.
  • Partner with Business Improvement team to identify improvement opportunities and deliver productivity targets.
  • Lead execution of OTC optimization and standardization initiatives including global process designs from the Business Improvement/Continuous Improvement team.
  • Maintain desk top procedures and daily ops management including incident management.

Associate Engagement & Talent Development:

  • Ensure a high performing team environment across the key pillars of Engagement, Energy, Inclusion and Empowerment.
  • Lead the Regional OTC Operation teams through great line management including talent acquisition, onboarding, SMART objectives, performance management, learning and development, and succession planning.
  • Create a culture focused on continuous improvement, automation, compliance, vendor accountability and quality with clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Build customer focused Associates skilled in stakeholder management to ensure our global business service value proposition.

What are we looking for?

  • Strategic leader with 15+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, financial operations, credit control, or other customer-focused roles within finance.
  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of the End-to-End Order-to-Cash cycle, with preferred sub-process knowledge in Cash Applications, Deductions Management, Cash Collections Order Management, or Trade Accounting. 
  • Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing, diverse teams in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Ability to build trust and act as a diplomatic bridge between different teams, customers, and partners.
  • Strong confidence and "standing alone" capability. Ability to challenge status-quo assumptions constructively, stand by principles, and act as a true strategic partner to the business.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to guide, persuade, and manage relationships with senior leaders, particularly within Sales (Commercial) and Finance teams.
  • Extensive experience in daily service management, operational delivery, and stabilization of processes.
  • Proven ability to partner with new business units and stabilize team relationships during integration phases.  
  • Experience managing delivery through third-party vendors, with the ability to resolve escalated issues and complex problems quickly and independently.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required (as this is our primary business language for regional and global collaboration), fluency in Polish would be a great advantage.
