Therapy Technician

Purpose:

To assist in providing speech, physical and occupational therapy services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain communication skills, optimal health, body alignment and wellbeing.

Qualifications:

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings   
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.                           
• Must possess basic computer skills 
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent                                                                                   
• Experience working in the field of human services preferred                                                             

Essential Functions:

• Implements therapy programs to include instruction and monitoring prescribed by the OT/PT/Speech Therapist
• Provides physical and nutritional management monitoring to ensure compliance with each individual’s plan
• Completes documentation according to regulatory requirements
• Maintains inventory of adaptive equipment, ensures cleanliness and that all items are in good repair
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Hourly: $20.00

Final compensation is determined by factors including geographic location, skills, education and relevant experience.
