Product Designer

AcuityMD, Inc seeks Product Designer in Boston, MA

Job Duties: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer experiences through the
collection, analysis, and application of key customer data points to understand, question, and
improve user experiences. Conduct user research, surveys, and interviews to obtain key data points
regarding customer pain points, goals, objectives, and usability concerns throughout their journey
with the healthcare system. Utilize findings to propose targeted solutions to influence the
Engineering team’s design of new products with customized visuals and interactions to improve user
experience. Create interactive data visualization tables, charts, graphs, and dashboards that clearly
illustrate how patients interact with multiple doctors and treatments over time, enabling sales
representatives to identify which doctors are seeing patients with relevant conditions to prioritize
outreach, meet sales goals, and improve patient outcomes and hospital cost efficiencies. Provide
strategic, data-driven insights identifying how hospital catchment zones and health systems are
most likely to benefit from Acuity products, enabling the sales organization to ensure the efficient
deployment and logistical management of resources to hospitals and medical facilities to improve
patient care and cost savings. Create robust data products within a Business-to-Business (B2B)
SaaS framework that empowers commercial organizations within medical device companies to
efficiently target appropriate healthcare providers and drive the innovative design and adoption of
customized medical devices and technologies to market. Full-time telecommuting permitted from
anywhere within the U.S.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job
offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research (including user interviews,
surveys, and usability testing) and synthesizing insights into product requirements (3 years)
2. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management,
data, and commercial teams) in an agile or iterative product development environment (4 years)
3. Experience designing data-driven user experiences for B2B SaaS platforms, including
workflow-based enterprise applications (3 years)
4. Experience creating interactive data visualizations (tables, charts, graphs, dashboards) for
analytical and operational use cases (3 years)
5. Experience applying customer and platform data to inform UX and product design decisions,
including user journey mapping and behavioral analysis (3 years)
6. Experience translating research findings into product design specifications for engineering
teams, including interaction design and visual system requirements (3 years)
7. Experience designing software products that operate on sensitive data within highly
regulated industries, with demonstrated understanding of complex operational workflows and
compliance constraints (2 years)

Salary: $161,803.00-198,000.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
