CDL-A Local Flatbed Driver – McConnellsburg, PA
$28/Hour | $1,400–$1,750/Week | Home Daily | No-Touch Freight
Looking for a local CDL-A position with hourly pay and consistent work? We are hiring Company CDL-A Drivers within approximately 40 miles of McConnellsburg, PA (17233).
PAY & SCHEDULE
- $28 per hour
- Average $1,400–$1,750 gross per week
- Approximately 750–1,500 miles per week
- Local routes
- Home daily for most routes
- Additional home-time schedules may vary by lane
- Additional pay for chaining and strapping
THE JOB
- Local routes primarily throughout PA, OH, MD & DE
- Finished parts freight
- No driver unloading
- Chaining and strapping required
- Mostly curtain-side flatbeds
- Some straight flatbeds and dry vans depending on lane/season
- Experienced driver managers
- Approximately 15:1 driver-to-dispatcher ratio
- Hands-on safety and equipment training
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months solo CDL-A experience
- Must be able to safely chain and strap loads
- Dependable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Must meet applicable company and DOT hiring requirements
- Must live within the applicable hiring area
