Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Proof of High School Diploma or GED (C137):

• All candidates must provide valid documentation proving the completion of a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate. This documentation must be submitted during the application process.

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

• Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems or badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors. Relevant experience should be detailed in the application or resume.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

• Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize online platforms effectively. Candidates may be required to complete a basic skills assessment during the interview process.

Customer Service Experience (B219):

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-related facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
