*Assisting with room inspections, preventative maintenance, out-of-order rooms, room readiness, and preparation of guest suites when operationally necessary.
*Providing Front Desk coverage and assistance as needed, including guest check-in/check-out, answering telephones, responding to guest questions or concerns, processing reservations, accepting payments, addressing guest requests, and assisting with after-hours guest situations.
*Supporting housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments when additional assistance is necessary to maintain hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
*Responding appropriately to urgent property issues such as water leaks, lock or access problems, HVAC concerns, power interruptions, guest-room maintenance issues, or other operational emergencies.
On-Call Responsibility
*The Assistant General Manager will normally be assigned on-call responsibility two (2) nights per week and must be available to respond to after-hours guest or property-related issues during assigned on-call periods.
*Additional on-call nights or days may be required based on staffing levels, vacations, call-outs, emergencies, occupancy, operational needs, or other circumstances. The Assistant General Manager must maintain reliable communication and be reasonably available to respond to hotel needs while assigned on-call responsibilities.
