Your Mission: This is how you drive impact

As our Fundraising & Program Specialist, you are the driving force responsible for securing the financial future and long-term sustainability of our Fellowship and Entrepreneurship initiatives at ZOLLHOF, while actively shaping and guiding their operational execution. Your role combines strategic fundraising, close foundation management, and hands-on program ownership to establish a rock-solid foundation for our upcoming ecosystem formats.
Here is an overview of your tasks:

• Strategic Fundraising & Financial Sustainability: You create and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure long-term financing for our future Talent and Entrepreneurship formats.
• Foundation & Donor Management: You proactively identify, approach, and build strong, trusting relationships with foundations, philanthropic institutions, and public funding bodies, acting as a key ZOLLHOF representative.
• Program Leadership & Operative Execution: You take the lead on running our Future Founder formats day to day. Cohort structure, participant engagement, and program quality sit with you, and you have real input into how these formats are designed and improved over time in close collaboration with our Startup Team.
• Interface to Startup Teams: You work closely with our internal Startup and Program Teams to align financial resources with operational needs, ensuring that funded initiatives feed seamlessly into the broader ZOLLHOF Entrepreneurship funnel.

Your Toolbox: What you bring to the table

• General: We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in Fundraising, Foundation Management - ideally with solid hands-on experience in program management within the startup ecosystem. Fluency in both German and English is essential to navigate funding landscapes and engage with diverse financial supporters.
• Experiences: You bring several years of proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or securing major grants (e.g., with foundations, grant-making organizations, or public funding programs), paired with experience coordinating or leading programs in a startup or accelerator context. Previous exposure to entrepreneurship hubs is a strong advantage.
• Skills: You possess excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, alongside the ability to run programs effectively and improve them as you go. You combine high strategic thinking with practical execution power.
• Personality: You are a born networker with an empathetic, authentic personality who can connect equally well with high-level foundation boards and young program participants. You thrive on ownership, bring a true 'Builder' mentality to establish new funding structures, and are deeply motivated by accompanying the next generation of entrepreneurs on their journey.
