Paint, Pack & Ship Lead - 1st Shift

Reports to: Production Manager

 

Cooperates with: Production, Accounting, Sales, Shipping, Vendors, etc.

 

Primary Responsibility: Department lead for Paint, Pack and Ship for the MIRATECH Prior Lake facility on 1st shift.

 

What You'll Do:

• Lead and coordinate daily 1st shift activities within the Paint, Pack & Ship area to meet production goals for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Provide direction, training, and support to team members while fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
• Ensure all processes are completed according to ISO 9001:2015 standards and MIRATECH procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection, certification, and shipping records.
• Operate and oversee use of paint equipment, packaging tools, saws, nail guns, cranes, and PCs for order fulfillment.
• Monitor and perform routine maintenance of warehouse and paint equipment.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization across all work areas.
• Act as the point of contact for shift performance issues, troubleshooting, and communication with leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

What Qualifies You:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in paint or shipping operations.
• Previous leadership or lead experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.

Pay Range: $20/hr+ depending on experience
