We are looking for a Global Head of LIMS & Laboratory Automation to lead our global LIMS organization and introduce one harmonized Laboratory Information Management System across our sites.
Your role
As global Process and System Owner, you will set the strategic direction for LIMS while ensuring reliable, compliant daily operations. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and work across Quality, IT, Data, Engineering, and Digital Transformation to strengthen laboratory processes, data quality, and efficiency.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the global LIMS strategy and implementation, including harmonization, validation, data migration, rollout, and adoption.
- Develop the global team and connect central specialists with site super users through clear ownership, training, and collaboration.
- Own global processes, governance, budgets, vendors, and service delivery throughout the system lifecycle.
- Advance laboratory automation through instrument integration, electronic execution, automated data flows, and reporting.
- Ensure validated, inspection-ready systems that meet GxP, data integrity, 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, and cybersecurity requirements.
What you bring
- A master’s degree or equivalent qualification in life sciences, IT, laboratory informatics, or a related field.
- Extensive leadership experience in laboratory informatics, LIMS, digital laboratories, or Quality Control within regulated life sciences, including direct and matrix leadership across sites.
- Proven delivery of multisite LIMS transformations, covering process harmonization, migration, validation, and change management.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory automation, system integration, GxP, data integrity, and risk-based quality management.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and budget management skills, alongside fluency in English.
