Description

As a Senior Financial Control Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, and analysis while partnering with leaders across the organization. This role offers exposure to complex accounting activities, process improvement initiatives, and mentorship opportunities, allowing you to grow your career while contributing to our mission of helping customers make decisions easier and lives better.



Position Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and review standard and non-standard journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables.
  • Analyze financial results, identify variances and trends, and provide meaningful commentary to stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, footnotes, and other internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance data management, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support special projects, mentor junior team members, and share best practices.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or a related finance function.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience preparing financial statements, regulatory filings, or complex account reconciliations.
  • Background in financial services, insurance, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience driving process improvement or automation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide financial insights and reporting commentary to business stakeholders.
  • Previous experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members.
