Marketplace/Retail Delivery Manager

Overview

Applies knowledge of the Delivery/Driving area to ensure achievement of key area goals and objectives. May mentor and/or manage talent to ensure tasks, processes, and projects are completed in an accurate and timely manner, providing direction or support as needed. Independently resolves complex problems without clear precedents, requiring extensive investigation and analysis. Responsible for safe and efficient facilitation of transporting and unloading PepsiCo products from distribution centers to customer locations.

 

 

Responsibilities

• This job is a developing subject matter expert in the Delivery/Driving area, influencing stakeholders and applying advanced knowledge to drive achievement of area goals and initiatives; and may mentor and/or oversee associates to guide effective team performance and development.
• Oversees the maintenance of detailed documentation and records for all delivery operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Facilitates the efficient loading and unloading of products at customer locations while implementing best practices.
• Evaluates product conditions regularly to ensure consistent adherence to delivery standards and addresses any issues promptly.
• Leads team members in identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency throughout the delivery process.
• Manages staffing resources and schedules strategically to ensure optimal coverage and maximize productivity.
• Provides exemplary customer service to strengthen client relationships and proactively addresses any concerns to enhance satisfaction.
• Oversees the execution of key area processes and initiatives, ensuring methods align with the overall functional and business strategy, exercising flexibility to adapt plans as needed, and mentoring colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of PepsiCo products from distribution centers to customer locations.
• Delivery team members play a critical role in executing frontline service, ensuring customer satisfaction through precise order fulfilment, proper handling of product, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Delivery professionals are essential contributors to the overall success of the go-to-market strategy, supporting sales execution and customer retention. They identify and implement operational improvements, drive standardization across delivery practices, and ensure alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and customer feedback.
• At senior levels, this job family also includes frontline leadership and management roles responsible for coaching, performance management, and operational oversight of delivery teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
