Job Summary:
Delivers high-quality taping and finishing work that prepares surfaces for seamless finishing and supports overall project success. Contributes to project timelines by completing assignments efficiently and with attention to detail. Collaborates with crew members to maintain consistent standards and ensure smooth workflow across all assigned areas. Supports a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures and proactively addressing potential issues. Enhances project outcomes by producing reliable workmanship and supporting crew objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Applies joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
Uses sanding, feathering, and finishing methods to achieve smooth, uniform surfaces ready for painting or final finishes.
Inspects completed taping work for consistency, smoothness, and alignment with project specifications, addressing deficiencies as needed.
Coordinates with other trades and team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Identifies and communicates complex taping or finishing challenges to leadership for resolution.
Ensures work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe throughout all phases of taping and finishing.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in drywall taping or 2 - 4 years of experience in drywall taping, finishing, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
