We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.

Qualified candidates will begin their role on a client project site within the U.S. for approximately 6 months to 1 year, gaining hands-on experience with our software and working directly with our clients. Following this period, Technical Communicators will join the core team at our Centennial, CO headquarters, where the role is fully in-office.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Communicator, you will play a key part in creating and enhancing educational resources and content that engages and resonates with a tailored audience. Through collaboration with internal teams, you'll support the rollout of targeted training initiatives, while also managing and organizing materials within our digital learning platform that are clear, engaging, and tailored to specific audiences.
- Develop, design, and update in-person and online learning material and content that is effective, engaging, and targeted to the appropriate audience.
- Identify learning objectives and apply adult learning theory to develop content to support those objectives.
- Assess learning needs using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Analyze existing instructional material for completeness and effectiveness and make adjustments where needed.
- Work with other FAST teams to assist with create specialized technical and functional training for targeted groups.
- Communicate learning opportunities using various internal communication methods.
- Upload, maintain, and curate materials in our online learning system.
- Track and analyze participation and completion rates.
- Review learner feedback and evaluate areas for improvement in the learning content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to innovate, take initiative, think critically, and experiment with new approaches.
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate building productive relationships with all levels of employees.
- Consistent, exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Above-average proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience with course authoring software such as Adobe Captivate.
