Overview

Lake Huron Medical Center is a 139-bed community hospital that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient health care services to residents of St. Clair and Sanilac counties including emergency services, primary stroke center, cancer care, surgical services, physical therapy and rehabilitation services, pulmonary rehabilitation, and specialized diabetes programs.

Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of out-patient wound care in a clinical setting. Change wound dressings; prepare wound treatment rooms. Accurately measure and record wound size in patient record. Apply wound dressings as prescribed by the physician and assist with front office duties.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

Previous experience in a wound care center and/or outpatient clinic preferred.

Completion of a Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant or ER Tech, or similar program required.

Current Basic Life Support Card.
