Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing their respective area of manufacturing or warehousing operations.
Core Duties
- Manage respective duties including facility management, stocking, inventory, maintenance and creating products for orders/ stock.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in respective area(s). Reviews orders, maintenance records, machinery, and other records as applicable to determine the daily/ weekly work assignments as well as goals for the week/ month/ quarter.
- Vendor and contractor management as applicable.
- Oversees receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of product(s).
- Coordinate communication between the internal departments as required to ensure efficient and timely deliverables.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
- Establish and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers through effective communication both written and oral.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counting, and other inventory management functions as needed.
- Maintain the proper working order of all warehouse equipment and tools.
- Ensure compliance throughout the facility to global process standards and work on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with all ISO9001 compliance activities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse/operations or equivalent experience.
- Results-driven with a keen ability to make sound decisions.
- Microsoft Office knowledge required.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
- 2+ Years’ experience in general warehouse or related area of management
