What will you do?  

  • The Senior Manager of Associates will lead a team of Associates in delivering Direct Investing expertise and superior client experiences to RBC DI's highest-value clients.

  • The Manager will drive team performance in deepening client relationships, primarily through activation and execution of leads programs and fostering a culture of excellence across all client interactions.

  • You are a role model, coach and champion for our RBC Blueprint. You consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness and take the time to understand circumstances, motivators and concerns in all interactions with employees, colleagues and clients.

  • Resolve high-value client issues decisively by owning problem resolution, sourcing solutions, collaborating with RBC DI colleagues, and escalating strategically when required.

  • Align and Execute Strategic Initiatives: Partner with senior leaders to establish key priorities for the Associate team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. Lead the execution of strategic initiatives as assigned, translating senior leadership direction into actionable team goals that drive

  • Develop strategic growth initiatives by establishing an annual business development plan

  • Drive retention and growth outcomes by developing and maintaining high Associate capability and engagement, empowering your team to deliver exceptional experiences that translate directly into client retention and revenue growth.

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:  

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.

  • Minimum (required within 6 months):

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC),

  • Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH);

  • 7-10 years of experience in investment industry acting as a Investment Representative (IR), Associate (IAA) or higher capacity

  • Working Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
