Description
The Cruise Sales Agent services Travel Partners and Direct Guests, providing access to all client service areas within Azamara Cruises through a one-stop platform. Agents serve as liaisons between accounts and Sales, working closely with all areas to assist accounts in growing their business with Azamara Cruises.
This role handles inbound and outbound calls, emails, and correspondence from travel partners and direct guests; answers general and specific questions regarding product offerings and policies; and supports Sales Managers in meeting or exceeding corporate growth goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Service direct guests and travel partners for the North America market and provide access to all client service areas within Azamara Cruises in a one-stop platform.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, faxes, and mail from travel partners and direct guests.
Review and act on sales calls and inquiries for various sales functions and Travel Partners and Direct Guests; leverage these interactions to create selling opportunities.
Service existing bookings including making changes to reservations, accepting and recording payments, and assisting travel partners with arranging guest preferences.
Research and provide information to accommodate special needs.
Oversee management of redeployed bookings based on options provided to Travel Partners and Guests.
Ensure bookings chosen for cancellation are processed accurately and that refunds are set up appropriately.
Collect guest preferences for Future Cruise Credits (FCCs) and calculate corresponding FCC amounts for IT to incorporate into client profiles.
Address inquiries related to redeployments and available offers for guests.
May be assigned to special projects and may serve on employee committees.
Perform additional duties as designated by management to support the overall objectives of the organization.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Call center experience in a travel environment preferred.
Ability to use advanced business and sales knowledge to make decisions.
Ability to write reports, memos, and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Ability to work, interact, and communicate with external and internal customers at all levels.
Ability to build and maintain successful business relationships with valued external customers and co-workers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Minimum 2 years of sales experience required; bilingual proficiency preferred.
Call center experience in a travel environment preferred.
Proficient in negotiation skills; knowledge of Seaware and Ring Central preferred.
1–2 years of Customer Service experience.
Engaging and friendly; a natural relationship builder with strong communication and listening skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. The employee may also be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. This is a full-time position and may exceed 40 hours per week. Scheduled days and hours of work are determined by operational coverage needs, including closing hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
