A truly lovely private family in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced, versatile, and team-oriented full-time housekeeper to join their long-standing household staff. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking a long-term position with a family that genuinely values and takes exceptional care of their employees.
The family has an excellent track record of retaining household staff, with multiple employees enjoying long-standing tenures and one valued member of the team having been with the family for more than 30 years. They foster a warm, respectful, and supportive working environment and are hoping to find someone who will become another trusted, long-term member of their household.
The household currently employs an experienced housekeeper, and this individual will work alongside her as a collaborative two-person team maintaining the family's approximately 10,000–12,000-square-foot main residence and guest house. The responsibilities will be shared according to the needs of the household and each team member's strengths. The family is looking for someone versatile who is comfortable moving between housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and light kitchen support throughout the day.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30am–4:30pm, with 40 hours per week guaranteed. There may be some flexibility in the exact start time depending on the candidate and division of responsibilities within the team. Occasional weekend availability with advance notice may be requested. There will be oppurtunity for overtime.

Responsibilities
- General and deep cleaning throughout the main residence and guest house
- Maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and household spaces to a high standard
- Complete household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and caring for linens and clothing
- Iron clothing and household linens; strong ironing skills are particularly important for this role
- Change and maintain bed linens
- Maintain organization and general tidiness throughout the home
- Assist with longer-term cleaning and organizational projects when the family is traveling
- Assist with very simple breakfast preparation, such as juices, boiled eggs, cut fruit, and other basic items
- Maintain and clean the kitchen and assist with light food preparation as needed
- Work collaboratively with the existing housekeeper and other household staff to divide daily responsibilities
- Properly care for high-end furnishings, artwork, and delicate household items according to established household guidelines
- Assist with occasional local errands, including grocery shopping or picking up household supplies; a household vehicle will be provided
- Assist with feeding the family's dog at the end of the day as needed
- Basic sewing or mending is a plus, but not required

Requirements
- Previous professional housekeeping experience in a private home
- Strong knowledge of general and deep-cleaning practices
- Excellent laundry and garment-care skills
- Strong ironing skills required
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a staffed private household
- Comfortable assisting with simple food preparation and kitchen cleanup
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working in a home with a dog
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Comfortable navigating a large, multi-level residence with several staircases
- Able to carry laundry baskets and lift approximately 30–40 lbs
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent professional references
Salary and Benefits
Compensation: $35–$37/hour DOE, Hours worked over 40 per week will be paid at time and a half.
