Systems Engineer
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a [Systems Engineer] (f/m) to join our [Health Management team] based in Getafe, Spain. You will be part of a team developing [the Health and Usage Management System (HUMS)
for multiple manned and unmanned aircrafts, and you will be particularly focused on the Military derivatives platform]. As part of the [Health Management team], you will be involved in [the
definition, design, testing support and in-service support, qualification and certification of Health Management System products] aiming at [the purpose of designing and producing optimized solutions that meet all engineering and service requirements to make our products
airworthy, efficient, maintainable, and service oriented].
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead systems engineering activities in order to specify, develop, integrate, qualify and certify health management systems in accordance with Airbus Defence and Space
standards.Be responsible to define HUMS architecture, acting as HW/SW designer analyst for the development of on-board centralized Big Data architectures.
Have the ability to identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
Gather customer requirements for its analysis and incorporation in the product.
Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates
Elaborate the product detailed design in accordance with system allocated requirements and architecture.
Be responsible for the integration of the Health management system integration on aircraft.
Specify, require, and support Laboratory, Ground and Flight tests needed for the development, certification and qualification (V&V) of Health Management systems.
Lead data management activities for massive information, from data gathering, manipulating processing and storing.
SKILLS
Min 2-3 years of professional experience.
Experience in on-board hardware and software equipment design life-cycle and supplier management.
Experience in SW design & development.
Excellent knowledge of development & integration activities, from requirements capture to verification/validation activities to achieve a qualified/certified system. That includes engineering fields as safety, quality assurance, configuration control, etc. applied to health management systems.
Good knowledge of procurement activities, from supplier selection to control and monitoring activities.
Experience working in Airbus Defense & Space Engineering programs would be valuable.
Tools requirements for system engineering: DOORS, ICDMS, SNT, ABDs, Eclipse.
Good communication skills, assertiveness and willingness to travel Strong Spanish and English skills, both verbal and written
Electrical & Lighting System Design Office Engineer
You will be part of a team developing Military derivatives, the new A321 aircraft modified to integrate the new ASW/ASuW, intelligence and surveillance and weapon systems. As part of the Electrical & Lights System department, you will be involved in Electrical and Light system definition, integration and test aiming at certifying and qualifying Electrical and Light systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in electrical system design and development, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
Demonstrated proficiency in electrical design tools and software, including CAD tools for schematics and harness design
Solid understanding of aerospace electrical standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., MIL-STD, RTCA DO-160, ARP).
Experience with lighting system design principles, including photometric analysis and control systems, is a plus.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Spanish language skills are a plus.
