We are seeking a professional, service-oriented Assistant Beach House Manager to support the daily operations of our luxury beachfront property. This role works closely with the Beach House Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain the highest standards of service and presentation, and oversee the smooth operation of the beach house, private pool, and beachfront amenities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering personalized service.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of the beach house, pool area, and private beach access.
  • Provide exceptional service to residents, members, guests, and VIP visitors.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and feedback.
  • Support coordination with concierge, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Help ensure all guest areas are maintained, organized, and guest-ready at all times.

Operations & Facility Management

  • Conduct routine inspections of the beach house, pool, beach, and guest amenities.
  • Monitor the condition of beach equipment, pool furnishings, umbrellas, chairs, towels, and recreational assets.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of guest supplies, operational materials, and beverage inventory.
  • Support scheduling of maintenance, repairs, preventative servicing, and deep-cleaning activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance requests, and operational needs.

Food & Beverage Support

  • Assist with coordinating food and beverage offerings to maintain luxury hospitality standards.
  • Monitor food presentation, service quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Help oversee beverage inventory, ordering, and storage procedures.

Team Leadership

  • Assist in supervising beach attendants, pool attendants, and seasonal team members.
  • Support onboarding and training of staff on service standards, safety procedures, and operational protocols.
  • Participate in daily team briefings and communicate operational priorities.
  • Lead shifts and serve as manager-on-duty when assigned.

Safety & Compliance

  • Help ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures throughout the property.
  • Monitor guest safety around pool and beach areas.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and guest concerns immediately to the Beach House Manager.
  • Support emergency response procedures and coordinate with appropriate personnel when necessary.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with tracking guest feedback, operational metrics, and maintenance logs.
  • Support budget management through supply tracking and cost-conscious purchasing.
  • Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to the Beach House Manager.
  • Assume operational leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Beach House Manager.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in luxury hospitality, resort operations, food and beverage, or guest services.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of beachfront, pool, resort, or club operations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with hospitality systems, scheduling software, or property management platforms is a plus.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • ServSafe Food Handler or Food Manager certification preferred.
