As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying access credentials, monitoring visitor activity, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at an industrial location, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
