Description
Our client, a 150+ bed healthcare facility in beautiful, sunny Northwestern AZ has a need for an ER Director to join their team.
- Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Emergency Department.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement
- Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school Required. Master’s Degree preferred
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care certifications
- Emergency Department nursing and proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department
