About the role:
A unique opportunity to transition from audit delivery into a national technology role, helping shape the future of audit through innovation, automation, AI, and emerging technologies. This role is ideal for experienced auditors who enjoy technology, problem-solving, and innovation, and are looking to build a career at the intersection of audit and technology
Responsibilities:
Drive the identification, evaluation, and adoption of AI, automation, and emerging audit technologies to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and innovation across the division.
Provide ongoing support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of audit technology solutions, liaising with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable performance.
Assist with the planning, development, testing, deployment, and rollout of digital audit tools and automation solutions, while gathering user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Deliver training, documentation, user support, and change management initiatives to build capability, encourage adoption, and promote best-practice use of audit technologies.
Support audit teams with data extraction, transformation, analysis, and governance activities, ensuring compliance with firm policies while collaborating across teams to implement innovative solutions.
About you:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant Tertiary qualification in Accounting
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
3+ years audit experience;
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills; and
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships.
