This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in delivering investment programmes that help shape the future of South Yorkshire. As Investment Programme Manager, the successful candidate will translate strategic investment priorities into deliverable programmes and projects that drive economic growth, support communities and businesses, and deliver long term benefits across the region.

About the role
You'll lead a portfolio of high value investment programmes that support growth and opportunity across South Yorkshire. You'll work with internal teams, delivery partners and stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into successful projects and measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Leading the delivery of complex investment programmes and projects from development through to completion. • Managing relationships with delivery partners, project sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Providing assurance and challenge throughout the business case, approval and delivery process. Overseeing programme performance, risk management and financial monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
- Negotiating and managing funding agreements while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
- Leading and developing a specialist team to deliver high standards of performance and collaboration.
- Preparing reports and recommendations for senior leaders and decision-making boards.
