Job Overview

Run the Airstream through each daily service window, pouring coffee, pre-batched beverages, beer, and wine with accuracy, care, and genuine hospitality. The Airstream Attendant is a hands-on service role responsible for beverage execution, guest transactions, and the stocking and cleanliness of a standalone courtyard outlet. This associate works independently for most of the shift and is often the only Sage presence guests encounter in the courtyard. They are an ambassador of happiness and hospitality for all guests and associates.

Responsibilities

· Showcase an inherent desire to take care of others.

· Open, operate, and close the Airstream for each service window, including setup, stocking, breakdown, and securing product, cash, and equipment.

· Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and tea beverages accurately, consistently, and in accordance with recipes and service standards.

· Pour pre-batched beverages, beer, and wine to spec, and verify identification on every alcohol sale in accordance with North Carolina ABC regulations.

· Engage guests warmly, guiding them through beverage and food offerings and providing thoughtful recommendations.

· Accurately enter orders, process payments, and follow all cash-handling and POS procedures, including drawer reconciliation at the close of each service window.

· Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines in compliance with company standards and local regulations.

· Stock the outlet from the hotel kitchen and storeroom ahead of each service window, including product, ice, cups, and dry goods, rotating to par to limit waste.

· Follow batch labeling, dating, and rotation procedures, and remove any product that has passed its shelf life.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the trailer, service window, and surrounding courtyard, and return smallwares and batch containers to the hotel for washing.

· Communicate low par levels, equipment issues, and product needs to management before they affect service.

· Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.

· Exhibits a kind, welcoming, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of urgency.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

· High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

· Must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with North Carolina ABC requirements. Entry-level role; previous cash handling, coffee, or hospitality experience preferred.

· Food handler certification and responsible alcohol seller/server training where required by state or local regulation.

 

Knowledge/Skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while holding service, cash-handling, and alcohol service standards.

· Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and associates.

· Ability to read and follow recipes, tickets, and service instructions, and to learn coffee, beer, and wine product basics.

· Manual coordination to operate coffee and dispensing equipment, handle hot liquids and glassware, and prepare beverages efficiently.

 

Physical Demands

· Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand and wrist motion throughout service, including pouring, stocking, and lifting cases and kegs.

· Continuous standing and movement within a confined trailer footprint, including repeated trips between the hotel and courtyard while carrying product.

· Ability to hear and respond effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment.

· Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.

 

Environment

· Physically demanding role performed in an outdoor courtyard setting and confined trailer workspace, with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, and precipitation. Split-shift availability required seven days per week, including weekends and holidays.
