ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Take ownership of a designated kitchen section, such as grill, sauté, or pastry, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards while maintaining proper portions and consistent execution.
• Inspect ingredients and finished dishes for freshness, quality, and consistency, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and culinary team to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
• Contribute ideas and creativity to menu development and seasonal offerings.
• Monitor stock levels, maintain proper storage practices, and assist with inventory, ordering, and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation while following all food-handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Mentor and support junior chefs and kitchen assistants, helping foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within a professional, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong culinary, organizational, and time-management skills.
