Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to join our expanding academic Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician who is passionate about caring for women with medically and obstetrically complex pregnancies while contributing to the advancement of academic medicine through education, research, and program development.
As the academic medical center for Tufts Medicine and the principal teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, Tufts Medical Center serves as a regional referral center for high-risk obstetrics, fetal diagnosis, and multidisciplinary maternal care. Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists partner closely with experts across nearly every pediatric and adult medical specialty to provide comprehensive, individualized care for patients with the most complex maternal, fetal, and placental conditions.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine services, including consultation for high-risk pregnancies, detailed fetal anatomic imaging, prenatal diagnosis, antenatal surveillance, ultrasound interpretation, and coordinated multidisciplinary care throughout pregnancy and delivery. The position offers opportunities to develop clinical programs, participate in quality improvement initiatives, engage in clinical research, and educate the next generation of obstetricians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
Position Highlights
- Join a collaborative academic Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice within a nationally recognized tertiary care referral center.
- Care for patients with complex maternal medical conditions, fetal anomalies, multiple gestations, placental disorders, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, diabetes, preterm birth risk, and other high-acuity obstetrical conditions.
- Perform and interpret advanced obstetrical ultrasound, fetal growth assessment, Doppler studies, cervical length assessment, and prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
- Collaborate within a highly integrated multidisciplinary team including Neonatology, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Neurology, Medical Genetics, Genetic Counseling, Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Adult Medicine subspecialties, and experienced nursing and sonography teams.
- Participate in the education and mentorship of residents, medical students, fellows, and advanced practice providers through Tufts University School of Medicine.

- Support the continued growth and innovation of Maternal-Fetal Medicine services across the Tufts Medicine system, including in our community satellite clinics.

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care for medically and obstetrically complex pregnancies.
- Interest in academic medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching, and scholarly activity.

The salary range for this position is $300,000.00 - $408,500.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
