Role Overview

We are looking for an Application Developer to join our Manila-based team. The role is responsible for the development, maintenance, integration, and ongoing support of the organization's internal applications and systems.

You will work closely with the Solutions Architect and other teams to build reliable, secure, and user-friendly applications using .NET and C#, while contributing across both backend and frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, unit test, and deploy custom applications and solutions using .NET and C#.
• Build responsive and user-friendly applications using modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance RESTful APIs, web services, and backend business services.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems and applications.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and reusable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across both frontend and backend components.
• Support application testing, deployment activities, and environment configurations.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.
• Work with relational databases as part of application development and integration.
• Follow software development best practices, including object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies and development practices to improve application performance and development efficiency.

Required Technical Skills and Experience

Backend Development

• Strong hands-on experience developing backend applications using .NET and C#.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and common design patterns.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services.

Frontend Development

• Solid understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• Experience developing applications using modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs.

Database

• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL-based data management.

Integration

• Experience developing or maintaining integrations with external systems and applications.
• Understanding of API-based integration and web services.

Software Development & Deployment

• Experience using source control systems, such as Git or equivalent.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting across frontend and backend components.
• Basic understanding of authentication and authorization concepts.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to DevOps practices is an advantage.

Education

Bachelor's degree in any of the following or a related field:

• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Other relevant technology-related disciplines

Work Location

This is an onsite position based in Ortigas, Pasig City.
