About the Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated and hands-on Office & Accounting Administrator to support daily office operations and key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in a fast-paced environment.
Work Arrangement: Temp-to-perm, full-time, on-site in Newark, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, payment tracking, reconciliations, and billing issues.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely invoice processing, vendor payments, and accurate records.
- Manage daily office operations and maintain an organized, efficient work environment.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and internal documentation.
- Coordinate shipments, inventory tracking, warehouse communications, and logistics.
- Monitor inventory levels and support planning with purchasing and warehouse teams.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to support daily operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in office administration, accounting support, operations, or a related role.
- QuickBooks experience required.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, including AR and AP.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable working independently.
