Who are we looking for?
Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Lifestyle Specialist 3 on our Franchisee Care team. The Franchisee Care team is responsible for executing complex hotel lifecycle activity — onboarding, rebranding, status changes, and distribution connectivity — with a high degree of independence and accuracy.
Are you enthusiastic about working with business partners and continuously improving processes with accuracy? We invite you to apply today for our Lifestyle Specialist 3 role today and #MakeItYourChoice.
Your Responsibilities
Data Accuracy & Hotel Representation
- Ensure hotel information is accurate and current across CRS, GDS, and OTA systems, supporting distribution readiness and rate integrity.
- Execute lifecycle changes — onboarding, pre-sell setup, repositioning, secondary name updates, suspensions, terminations, and reinstatements — accurately and within SLA.
- Monitor data quality and follow up on discrepancies to prevent rework and downstream errors.
- Prepare operational reports on onboarding, suspension, reinstatement, and termination activity to track trends and support planning.
Operational Support & Escalation
- Serve as an escalation point for complex lifecycle and distribution issues, working to resolve them with minimal disruption to hotel readiness.
- Coordinate OTA and GDS connectivity for new hotels and rebrands, confirming channel readiness before go-live.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and keep lifecycle work moving.
- Support project work that improves lifecycle performance or process consistency, and mentor less experienced team members as needed.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time, errors, and manual work in lifecycle processes, and help implement the resulting changes.
- Partner with IT on system enhancements that support automation and scalability.
Knowledge Base Management
- Maintain and update lifecycle knowledge base content and documentation to reflect current standards and processes.
- Act as a subject matter resource on lifecycle processes for the team and cross-functional partners.
- Communicate system, process, or compliance changes clearly to ensure consistent execution.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in hotel distribution, franchise operations, or lifecycle/onboarding support.
- Experience supporting hotel onboarding, rebranding, or lifecycle transitions in a high-volume environment.
- Experience working with OTA and GDS platforms; familiarity with channel connectivity strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Opening Services, and Franchise Services.
- Working knowledge of CRS, PMS, and OTA/GDS distribution platforms.
- Experience with ticketing or workflow tools such as ServiceNow.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to analyze and present data clearly.
- Strong execution and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple lifecycle events accurately and on time.
- Solid problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving cross-system issues.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
- Attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
