Today, our experienced team of nurses and health care professionals continues to provide hospital-level care at home, combining clinical expertise and high-quality treatment with genuine comfort, compassion and personalised support.
Your role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dedicated Community Nursing team in Bunbury, as we enter an exciting phase of growth and development of service areas and extension of our footprint in WA.
Our home care services are designed to support our patient's recovery after a hospital stay, help reduce the risk of readmission and provide access to high-quality medical care and nursing support - all from the comfort of your own home.
Positions will be offered on a casual basis working across the Bunbury and surrounding areas. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday (must be available for weekends), generally visiting patients between 8am to 4pm.
Key Responsibilities
Interview and examine the patient, documenting the assessment findings.
Whilst promoting an environment of confidence, confidentiality and respect, identify through discussion with the patient, family and relevant others, actual and potential problems.
Assess and document the anticipated needs of the patient.
Make relevant referrals as necessary.
Document the planned nursing care and ensure the care plan remains current.
Perform the planned direct nursing care, set priorities and re-establish priorities in changing circumstances.
You will have demonstrated experience in sound communication and critical thinking skills, experience in a speciality area of nursing (surgical, community, chemotherapy, infusions desirable) and able to work both independently, and as part of the multidisciplinary care team.
Successful applicants will have current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, minimum two years post graduate experience in surgical/medical nursing. Oncology experience with CVAD/IV Cannulation competencies highly regarded. A current WA drivers licence will be essential for this role

We can offer you
Hourly Rate: $52.30 to $67.24 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% Superannuation
