Packer Machine Operator

 

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established print company for a Packer to join their team in the Gamlingay / Sandy area. This is an ad hoc role with immediate starts available, ideal for someone who is flexible and looking for hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

This position may also suit candidates with experience as a warehouse operative, production operative, picker packer, factory worker, or anyone with transferable skills from logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environments.

 

What You’ll Do

• Pack printed materials carefully and accurately

• Check items for quality before packing

• Label and prepare orders for dispatch

• Keep your work area clean and organised

• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets

• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

 

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic

• Able to start work at 6am

• Must drive or have a reliable way to travel to site

• Good attention to detail

• Comfortable working on your feet and handling manual tasks

• Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or production roles is helpful but not essential

If you have worked as a picker, packer, warehouse assistant, or in a factory setting, your skills will transfer well here.
