Position Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for the management of the product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring our products meet our strategic vision, market needs and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role is responsible for defining the market requirements, ensuring investment aligns with commercial goals, and analyzing product performance to maximize portfolio opportunities. As a member of the product management team, the PM will work closely with our design, compliance, marketing, sales and service teams to deliver tailored games for the markets we support.
Essential Job Functions
Define the overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development, the creation of technical market content requirements, and content segmentation
Follows product from initial development through all development stages to product submission and approval
Drives product roadmap decisions for adjacent markets (confluence)
Support expansion opportunities in emerging markets
Gather and prioritize product requirements based on customer insights, competitive analysis, and game segmentation
Communicate product requirements to R&D
Create & maintain the product strategy (Playbook) for the respective derivative markets; this includes leveraging legacy products and commissioning native products
Verify the regulatory requirements in conjunction with The Compliance Department
Develop and implement processes to identify deviations from standard market requirements through the various development stage gates
Collaborate in financial and technical analysis for product selection and definition
Define clear product visions and KPIs for each adjacent market
Create new product go-to-market plans including product segmentation, and product value proposition by market
Commercialize products, including pre-launch coordination with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, etc.; this includes product training, both internally and as a customer support agent
Support in product release material across all adjacent markets
Manage the post-launch analysis of content based on segment expectations and provide debrief to R&D
Research competitor performance, technology, functionality, and product lines
Support the product management team, senior management, cross-department peers, Sales, and customer support on product information via presentations, product briefs, and other demonstrations
Help manage product roadmaps and track statuses, workloads, and release timelines
Help maintain product-related spreadsheets (market regulations, global variables, asset tracking)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of products
Track approval statuses and communicate updates to stakeholders
Support coordination with distributors and internal departments on release deliverables
Ability to deliver product information, portfolio briefs, and demonstrations in person and virtually
Track and resolve open issues related to Charitable gaming customer deliverables
Collaborates with R&D teams to develop new Charitable Gaming products and enhance existing ones to ensure they align with market demands and regulatory requirements
Organize, interpret, and report data to support research and/or recommendations. Monitor monthly results of product line performance and assist with variance reporting
Utilize knowledge of an organizational structure including the primary functional areas, their respective departments and work units, and their respective purpose, deliverables, and interrelationships
Lead the effort by collaborating with the appropriate departments to design and distribute product materials
Serve as secondary point of contact for internal and external product inquiries
Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to manage the order flow of products to the company’s customers
Perform other assignments (or duties) as required
Training/Education
3+ years of product management experience (Gaming or hospitality industry experience preferred)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Self-directed, highly motivated, thorough, and accurate, ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Extremely detailed oriented
Capable of coordinating efforts with members of a cross-functional team
Strong awareness of gaming industry trends
