What you'll do...

Role summary:
The Manager, Merchant Activation leads the execution of Walmart’s pricing initiatives by partnering closely with Merchants and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and scalable pricing execution.  As part of the Merchant Activation team, you serve as the human in the loop—translating merchant intent into operational excellence while protecting Walmart’s Every Day Low Price (EDLP) promise. You will lead complex work-streams, solve challenging business problems, and build trusted partnerships that enable successful execution across the business.

The Merchant Activation team collaborates with merchants and cross-functional partners to deliver precise, timely, and scalable pricing execution. They lead complex pricing initiatives from planning to implementation, enabling merchants to bring strategies to market while enhancing operational efficiency. The team focuses on maintaining Walmart’s Every Day Low Price commitment by driving accountability, strategic thinking, and problem-solving. Through effective stakeholder management and data-driven insights, they support business goals and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company standards and operational excellence in a dynamic retail environment.
What you'll do:

• Lead end-to-end execution for assigned pricing initiatives, promotions, and merchant portfolios.
• Partner with Merchants and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of pricing strategies.
• Identify risks, resolve complex operational issues, and remove barriers to execution.
• Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes, standardizing workflows, and supporting automation efforts.
• Monitor execution quality, communicate proactively, and ensure work is delivered with speed and accuracy.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
