Leads complex platform initiatives that improve scalability, reliability, deployment consistency, observability, and service enablement across environments. Defines and advances technical priorities for platform components, tooling, automation, and operational practices to support current and future business needs. Influences engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to adopt platform standards, implementation approaches, and guardrails that improve consistency and reduce duplication. Resolves complex platform engineering issues by analyzing technical and operational constraints, identifying root causes, and shaping durable solutions. Guides engineers and peers on platform practices, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches without formal people-management accountability. Builds reusable platform patterns, engineering guardrails, and enablement assets that improve consistency, reduce delivery friction, and support broader platform adoption across teams.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field required. Certification in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or equivalent preferred.
