Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Client Service in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Professional at a technology-focused location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while responding to security-related concerns and maintaining awareness of site activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation as required.
• Communicate observations and concerns to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and appropriate emergency personnel in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
