Job Details

Provide comprehensive inpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician services and clinical consultation to patients at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams, consulting specialties, and hospital departments to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities include providing coverage for other PM&R clinical services as needed and participating in the department's scheduled on-call rotation. The physician will also supervise, mentor, and provide educational instruction to residents, medical students, and other trainees, as assigned by the Department Chair and the Department.

Job Description

  • Identifies, anticipates, and addresses patients’ needs and achieves patient satisfaction.
  • Provide medical services and consultation to patients.  
  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Provide patient, family and care giver education and counseling
  • Participate in administrative activities as designated and approved.
  • Supervises and provides teaching services for residents, medical students, and other trainees
  • Properly executes and prepares documentation that pertains to medical billing and patient coding.
  • Will be assigned additional ambulatory and inpatient responsibilities.
