Job Description:
Provide transportation services for passengers to and from parking lots and office/plant locations during peak work hours.Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
Operates a shuttle bus following all traffic laws and regulations to transport passengers to and from designated locations.
Conducts routine vehicle inspections to ensure shuttle bus is in good working condition.
Reports any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
Provides excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and responsive to passenger inquiries and needs.
Reports any incidents, delays, or other relevant information to leadership.
Maintains shuttle, including filling gas tank, cleaning interior and exterior.
Cleans and sanitizes shuttle as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma and must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Class B with Passenger Endorsement Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Ability to maintain a clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents within a specified time frame.
Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with passengers.
Knowledge and understanding of and committed to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of passengers and others.
Ability to be reliable and punctual to adhere to schedules and meet passenger expectations.
Work Environment:
Possesses physical stamina to sit for extended periods, assists passengers with boarding as needed.
