- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, access concerns, and hazards, helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related incidents.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
